I believe in God but honestly I doubt that he would be capturable with a camera. seriously, God is a term for an ultra powered being and his name is god so he is ultra super even uber powerful so, he could not becaptured on film in my mind. still, cool pics
Well why not, if he’s so powerful he can ALLOW himself to be captured on film, no?
Yes He can, but thats related to the “He can make a rock too heavy for Him to lift” and it is just as unimportant. First of all, there are certain things God cannot do. For one, He cannot sin. He is holy, therefore He cannot sin. Also, He cannot be in the presence of evil without needing to punish that evil (in our case, we are that evil). It goes on from there. We need something/someone to save us from His holy need to eliminate us (the only just punishment for our evil is eternal death)–this is where Jesus comes in. God wants to save us, so He sent His Son, who is actually a part of Himself, to save us. Jesus would need to be born of a virgin so as not to pick up human sin (long explanation, ask me if you’re curious how that works) so Jesus was born to Mary, but He was still God, just embodied as a man. He would have to live a perfect life to be able to conquer eternal death. Then and only then could He cover our sins with His human perfection. Now, you and I have both messed up, so we can’t get to Heaven that way. The only way for us to get to Heaven is to have someone who has vouch for us. So all we can do as filthy humans (I mess up just as much or more than you, so don’t feel like you’re “too bad” or “not good enough” because that just isn’t true) is to call out to God and say we’re so sorry for all the evil we have done in His presence (He’s everywhere), ask for His forgiveness for that evil, and ask for Jesus to cover us with His perfection so God cannot see our ugliness. Does that make sense? Please just email me if you have questions or comments, I would love to do my best to help you or find you someone who can answer you.
