Skepfeeds-The Best Skeptical blogs of the day

21 days to go!

Posted in Skepdude by Skepdude on June 9, 2009

To reach my goal of 50 regular subscribers at end of June 2009. So lend a helping hand. Make it a goal to post at least one link of my entries on your Facebook or MySpace or similar website. Or even better, if you have your own blog, give a quick plug to Skepfeeds, your favorite, little known, skeptical gem on the web!

Hmm, that number 21 is interesting.

2+1=3

3*2*1=6

(6,6) & 6 = 666

ARRGGGGHHHHH!

Hey! Not sure how you could your feed subscribers, but I just ran into this problem and figured I would share. The number of subscribers that shows in my Google Reader window is *vastly* different from the number of subscribers tagged in my Feedburner analytics. Not sure where the difference comes from since they’re both Google properties.

How do you find out the number of subscribers from the Google Reader? I’ve never run across that!

Is it that the feedburner subscriber is a google application which then distributes it to other readers? So the actual subscriber numbers are the ones subscribing through google readers, bloglines, etc.. They don’t subscribe directly through feedburner.

Just my thoughts – I have notices the same thing.
