Extraterrestrial Space Ships to Rescue us out of the Energy Crisis?

Posted in News by Skepdude on May 19, 2009

To most of us, UFO’s solving our energy problem will sound, at best, like wishful thinking, and most likely will be dismissed as insane.

A solution to our energy problems from out of this world, or is it just insane?

A solution to our energy problems from out of this world, or is it just insane?

But if energy lobbyist Stephen Bassett has his way, President Barack Obama will release information that the government is secretly hiding on “extraterrestrial vehicles” –according to Mr. Bassett’s claims– which can be used to solve the nation’s energy problem and limit climate change in one fell swoop.

The power source, he said, chronicled in a report Greenwire did on the subject, behind a flying saucer the weight of a tractor-trailer which hurtles through galaxies at 20,000 miles per hour is astronomical.

“What is the energy system operating that craft?” Bassett said. “They’re not burning kerosene. It eliminates oil. It eliminates coal. If it’s as good as we think it is, it transforms everything.”

Mr. Bassett is the founder of the Paradigm Research Group (PRG), which launched the “Million Fax on Washington” campaign, calling for the President to release all files, call for congressional hearings, and make available extraterrestrial (ET) derived technologies to the public domain.

Bassett claims that the government has flying saucers in its possession.

He is a firm believer in the cause, and is even working free of charge to lobby on behalf of the Exopolitics Institute, an educational organization which describes itself as “dedicated to studying the key actors, institutions and political processes associated with extraterrestrial life.”

12 year old girl puzzled by UFO sighting – but then 12 year olds are puzzled by simple math equations so go figure.

Huge, triangular shaped UFO sighted in Chicago – I wonder if these guys have been reading Scott Siglers “Infection”?

Homeopathy can treat infertility – In both men and women apparently. I cringe at the thought of just what they are diluting in the water. While I know that there would be basically nothing of the substance left, I still wouldn’t want to drink that thing.

Blatant lie of the day – “Therapeutic aromatherapy is a recognized medical profession“. I am unaware of any medical school that offers a degree in aromatherapy, at least in the USA. Please, if I am wrong in this assertion point me to the right place.

Ear accupuncture galore – Did you know that the ” ear is the record for past and present and future problems in the body” Holy cow! And all this time I thought it was the foot! Silly me! And look at the list of ailments it can help you with: infertility, asthma, allergies, insomnia, headaches and even weight loss.Isn’t that great you can become pregnant and not put on the pregnancy pounds? How fabulous!

So what do a 93 year old dead guy with a huge unpaid utility bill, Al Gore and the U.S. Patent office have in common? Alien (as in extraterrestrial)  “clean” energy conspiracies of course! Did you know that there is, currently on this Earth, knowledge and possibly reverse-engineered technology for cleaner energy than solar and wind? I did not know nuclear energy science had advanced that much!

Homeopath decides to move to Tanzania to use his craft to “cure as many people as possible” in an effort to convince skeptics that he’s not full of it. So let me get this straight, he can’t make the science work as it should so the solution is to go out in a third world country and experiment with god knows how many people’s lifes under no supervision whatsoever, because this guy thinks scientists have it in for him? A bit conceited, not to mention extremely unethical, no? I have a suggestion for him. He may want to take his “medicine” not in pill form but in its liquid form. At least let these people get some clean drinking water out of this.

And in closing don’t forget to always evaluate alternative medicine as it relates to God’s commandments following the “four R” plan. I’m just finding it a bit hard to find out God’s stance on homeopathy and UFOs? Could have been on the dropped Gospels. Anyone has any insights on this matter?
