An ex-chiropractor speaks out

Posted in improbable science by Skepdude on August 21, 2008

On 18th August I was surprised and delighted to get a letter from a young man who qualified at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. His experiences in many ways justified what I said in my editorial, Dr Who?,, and in some cases went further. His inside knowledge is precisely what is needed.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the threatened legal action in the light of evidence like this. Now Jonathan has sent a version of his letter that he wishes to be publicised. It is a great pleasure to reproduce it below. It takes some courage for someone in his position to go public in this way. He has done an enormous service to openness, to honesty and to science itself.

great letter. This Jonathan guy was kicked out of the NZ college (there goes motive for letter) because he lied about his previous studies. He then enrolled in the osteopathy study at Unitec and was kicked out of there as well. He then worked as an unqualified and unregistered ‘physio’ in auckland and is now facing court action, he featured in the NZ sunday times, The guy is a pathological liar and clearly has issues…but please continue to lean on his letter, its worthy and as strong as the article written in the NZ medical journal.

Not at all true, Franko, not even close. Not only did he graduate without issue, he was board registered and practiced as a registered chiropractor for several years. Where do people like you come from, and why?

guess there are plenty of Jonos like FranBobs, my mistake. I come from the other place FranBob, very North from where you are. I cant wait to find the emotional reasons why this ex chiro put pen to paper. keep us posted
